What are they going to call this? The Genital Gestapo? The Piss Police? Christ, these people are kings of distracting from terrible other laws they’re trying to pass by riling up the idiots with things like this.

This argument is so tired. Red states are not a monolith. There are plenty of people here in Kentucky who are extremely liberal and places that go blue. Even the tiny ass Kentucky town my fiance is from went blue. But I guess they got what’s coming to em for not being liberal enough for Good America.

This made me cry, my mom was the only person who understood me and my MI, and I just lost her this past May.

Danny Goeb is his real name. Patrick is his middle name. I only know this because his wife was my teacher & she went by Mrs. Goeb.

Swear to god, these folks have transpeople confused with cross dressers.

Perry was actually Bush’s Lt. Gov so how it didn’t happen is a mystery

It upsets me/disappoints me greatly that his wife was my second-grade social studies teacher and really was a big influence on how interested I got in history knowing how disgusting of a human being he is. Seriously, I normally do not wish ill upon people, but when the next hurricane hits I hope he’s stuck on I-45

He lectured us like a disappointed grandpappy. No thanks.

I only hit VIB this year, but I’m living on a grad student budget. After my mom died in May I went on a craaaaaaazy Sephora spending spree and fell in love with the entire Too Cool For School line, the NARS velvet lip glides when they came out, and the Boscia charcoal pudding mask.

What I do, since I love Sephora but certainly can’t afford it, is get the “value sets” that have samples of all kinds of cool things for $25-$65. Perfume samplers, a Too Cool For School sampler, etc.

Birth control is preventative medical care, which anyone with half a brain in a functioning society should be supportive of. Per the Hyde Amendment, the government does not provide funding for abortion.

Fort Bend County (Houston burbs, if you’re unfamiliar) went blue for the first time in god knows how long and it gave me hope.

Oh, they’re very serious about (non-poor white people) voting (for Republicans!)

Watching Jerry Kill have seizures on the sideline was just unbelievably terrifying and I’m glad he finally bowed out. Nothing is worth sacrificing your health.

I’m a Texans fan and I loved him, I wish him nothing but the best and hope he stays healthy. He’s a pretty nice guy in person, not that it means anything really, but seeing him have that mini-stroke was terrifying and I’m glad he’s being proactive about this.

A lot of that is due to the horrendous gerrymandering (my god, the district that encompasses literally only the rich white parts of Houston makes my blood boil) & a shitty public transportation system that disenfranchises everyone unlucky enough to not own a car in my concrete jungle hometown.

my fiance started applying for jobs in Oregon the day after the election. got one, but decided to stay in our red as hell state to keep fighting our idiot governor.

we’re not a blue state, we’re Chicago surrounded by red

I just moved from Chicago to Louisville and the homeless problem in Chicago is obscene. It’s a problem everywhere.

that was definitely not my point and I apologize for not being more clear in what I was trying to say there. it just makes me incredibly irritated whenever people talk about a large swath of people and land. we’re not a monolith. just like California is not a monolith and has its own problems with racism and classism.
