This is really stupid.

To get it running at stock levels I think he said about 18k all in. 7k more would net him a BPU supra with room to grow.

I think you are going to have to be a bit more hip if you are looking for them. Facebook, instagram, app based markets and such is apparently where a surprisingly large amount of these cheaper project cars live.

When the transmission in my 2006 Acura went out I found out that all the local transmission shops were familiar with Honda transmissions. Which at first seems like a good thing, but in retrospect is actually quite a bad thing. While asking one repair shop, the guy said “oh we do honda transmissions all the time, not

Datsun 240z, took 3 years to build. Was pretty disappointed. Did everything the internet said would be a good stage 1 car, and it was just ok. Fun in certain aspects, but not awesome as I had hoped.

There really is no tech to mature this is a straight FASOR design (Forward Air, Spring Operated Return), you just need to upscale it and add the heat dampening, this has been around for a long ass time.

I want to thank it for bringing throttle bodies, rear differentials, axles, and other great things at amazingly cheap prices for very quality bits.

Darn you kids and your dog too!

Well to counter argue this fictional possibility, my understanding is that this isn’t a necessarily instant process, it could probably further be controlled via the % of alcohol or the solvent material itself. Granted you could counter counter argue that if it was used in say Formula 1 where they take apart the cars

This sounds like a plot to a CSI episode with that rim in the picture. Angry race mechanic pours an alcohol solution in while filling up the air on race car or an affluent individual with CF rims. The fiber deteriorate over time until eventually causing a blow out, killing the driver. The alcohol fumes evaporate

I remember a little while back they decided they were going to do bridge maintenance in Seattle and that it had to be done during the day during peak traffic. They still do this on weekends, they need to take a note from the Japanese on road construction.

This could be very interesting!

When someone makes a statement as such “my ____ years of experience prove ____” I think if they are proven wrong they have to start back from 0. It only seems fair as the previous years of experience obviously didn’t teach them anything.

This came quite a while ago, not part of their new show, a spoof on how they would do what they did if they didn’t do it during the live show if I recall.

Hahahahahahahahahahaha...

Going to say you hit the money on this one. These are indeed super cheap alternatives to the crazy expensive Mk4 supra.

Paschke motor...wikipedia...

Very very exciting, I hope they do decide to port it for the Vita, I do enjoy being able to play on the bus and in bed.

If you drive for any amount of distance, a highway gear is nice, better fuel economy is always appreciated. And unless you live in a city and work in a city and stay in the city the freeway is part of everyday driving for quite a few people...
