Which sounds like one of those Conservative memes about how we shouldn’t give money to refugees while we have homeless veterans.

Notre Dame isn’t a motherfucking tragedy. What the fuck is wrong with you?

I know nothing of Lithuania. Does it have a cultural history of blackface? While blackface is super not okay in the USA (or, arguably, all of North America) is it equally bad in Europe and Asia?

I didn’t mind the idea of a multiplayer BioWare game in concept. I was actually quite excited, hoping it would handle narrative and cut scenes like The Old Republic MMO.
But the implementation in Anthem was pretty flawed, as it meant sitting in silence while a friend was doing the dialogue.

I imagine it had more to do with finding a quicker variant of chicken cordon bleu. Pounding the chicken flat is slow and messy and time consuming. Cutting in half is tricky.
This is a pretty elegant solution that is quicker but doesn’t cheap out on the concept, and allows more mixing of the cheese and ham.

It’s interesting to read about the chaos that went on behind the scenes, even when only a third of it probably contributed to the “failure” of the game.

I really don’t understand. The article says:

Uncertain how I feel about this.

There are so many games out there, Joshua. This one just isn’t for you, and that’s okay. It doesn’t need to bend over backwards with an easy mode.

I have tried Dark Souls. Repeatedly. I managed to get better and get passed my wall on multiple occasions. But it was seldom fun to play. In the end, after I hit another wall with Sif, I stopped. Because there were so many other games I could play. The hours and hours I spent beating my head against Dark Souls was

I don’t mind having to exclusively buy their game from their online story. But I dislike having to use their proprietary launcher and related bugs. I have FIVE different launcher programs on my system, with three being for a single game.

My favourite part of the article is how it discusses the problems BioWare had with expensive performance capture, which could only be recorded once. But then it neglects to say why?

The catch is, Anthem was always going to fail because people WANTED it to fail. There was a whole lot of negativity from the time of the announcement trailer.
Just read the comments:

I think it would be great with a good audience. Where you can feel off the energy like you do with a comedy or action.

Definitely a renter for me. I can’t watch horror in a big crowded cinema.

The really sick & frustrating thing about stories like this is everyone is going to attack him as a monster (which is fine).
But had she been just a few months older and 18, the comments would be flooded by greys defending the fucker and questioning if it it was rape.

In fairness to the driver, think about how many kids have parents in different states.

Watched the first year or so and found it so-so. But with it’s huge following, I rewatched on Netflix a couple years back and stopped with the season 5 finale.

Acknowledged and self admitted #3 here.

Yeah. I had a game I paid $60 that killed my computer, requiring me to reinstall Windows to fix my computer. THAT is a “broken game”.
