Two years. Unless he hit a dog. Then he’s fucked.

I’m sure this will just get chalked up to be everyone else’s fault but hers. Probably Bernie’s fault, I guess. Certainly not Hillary’s fault, I honestly can’t think of a single thing she’s ever done wrong in her life, it’s literally everyone else that’s ever failed.

I thought Detomaso at first, but quickly remembered Lagonda.

Really though, I kinda hate Beetles but this thing is wonderful.

This exactly. I knew a few people who had these V8 M3 brand new. I thought these looked great and had awesome V8 sound. However, ALL the people I knew with these beasts had mechanical or electrical issues that would not quit. Everyone got rid of theirs within a year or two. Good luck enjoying that car from under it,

Just ask his fanbois!

There’s a page on instagram from a BMW tuning shop where they routinely rebuild the S65 and S85 from this generation of M-cars. As much as I lusted over them in the past, seeing crank/rod bearings being replaced at as low as 35k miles is an absolute horror to me.

I had a friend who had one of these and recently traded it in on a 240M. While the e91 was an absolute beast, it was also an absolute nightmare from a maintenance and repair standpoint.

Hey Tom, now’s also a good time to pick up a low mileage 1-series, they are cheap

That guy was a fraud (see e.g. Infinti) and this was LONG overdue.

Never liked his handling of Infiniti or trying to make Cadillac a NewYork Fashion brand and stupid things like this:

I like how the HUD is telling you that the best way to get to your destination, an arbitrary point on a flat, empty plane of nothingness, is not to proceed there in a straight line, but to do a little zig-zag thing.

Teeny greenhouse still dooms it.

Is Jalopnik safe from the Univsion/Fusion layoffs?

I, for one, am shocked at their behavior thus far.

Tesla seems pretty charged up about this.

Oh yeah, that’s definitely plausible. Of the two of them, Elon Musk and the NTSB, everybody knows that the NTSB are the big celebrity attention whores, always with their “Hey everybody, look over here, it’s us, the world-famous NTSB!”

This is absolutely stupid PR for Tesla to tussle with one of the most well-respected federal investigative bodies, especially when there’s an image of their product chopped in half and their play is to blame the driver before a full investigation is in.

Shut the fuck up, Elon.

...the automaker accused the investigators of being “more concerned with press headlines than actually promoting safety.”
