Everyone has been saying touchscreens are a disaster waiting to happen but touchscreens have been prevalent in cars for the last 3-5ish years and the rate of accidents or death due to operation hasn’t statistically increased.

I think there are have been huge improvements to cars over the last decade that have made substantial difference in safety. I went from a 2012 VW Golf 5pot to an 2021 Volvo XC40 and the differences are immense - not just the technology and modernness. Also had a NB Miata before the Golf because Miata.
After just finishing a round of car shopping I will confidently say that the test-drive experience of car buying from dealers SUCKS and varies so wildly between brands and dealerships it’s a large part of what makes car shopping suck (not even mentioning the financing aspect).
The science around sending compressed high definition video to your pocket computer beamed through thin air while you’re traveling at 65mph down the highway is difficult. Much more difficult then anyone is saying for some reason.
Due to the uptick in EV sales in larger markets (i.e. China), the recession would need to be global to completely destroy them. They’ll still have the high-end sales of the Model S as those wouldn’t be impacted as much by a downturn.
It’s not that far fetched. The engineer listed in the Bose video now, according to LinkedIn, now works at Apple and we all know how well their car program is going 🤔

FedEx runs these all over SF. The sound very futuristic.
1st Gear: This idea makes sense from Musk as I think he is going to see a huge potential market for those who may have not previously considered solar. The financing for 300k Model 3's can include some rooftop solar installs with kickbacks in between would allow a single company to manage the financials and…
In case anyone cares about the “Vingilot” reference: http://lotr.wikia.com/wiki/Vingilot
Telsa has claimed that they are able to open in less space than a typical van sliding door. Also, I think everyone is really over-estimating how high this vehicle actually sits.
Apparently, Telsa claimed the doors can open in a tighter space than a current minivan sliding door. Also there were some rumors of the torque on the chassis caused by the doors being open while the vehicle was parked on a slope was one of the many reasons for the delay.
They had to modify the engines to fit all the room for the chemtrail equipment /s
I think you missed the part where I’m talking about dealerships that have “set price” for either used or new vehicles. If it’s a set price, it should be fair and have proper margins factored in. I’m not disagreeing that people want to pay invoice. I think car buying being more transparent would just make more sense.…
