About 5 or 6 years ago I believed servers (at least in chains) would be reduced, at the very least, by ordering on tablets left on the table, or the customer’s smartphone. My knee-jerk reaction is to agree, because white “creative” spellings of already-established names ALSO make me cringe and auto-assume they’re white trash, but...the English language is always evolving. A creative spelling today may be the standard in a few decades.
