Very true.

Huh I always wondered if that worked out for guys. If I saw myself at the high end of a guy’s age preference range, and he was my age or older, I would ignore his messages no matter how otherwise great he seemed. It happened often, and I always wondered if there were any girls who would actually respond...but then

I just can’t believe anyone who (without a medical condition) says that they “just can’t lose weight”.

That would give Ben Carson an unfair advantage.

Have you met Florida? Or...really, any Southern state?

I love Lose It. The barcode scan is great, and I feel like the calorie counts for unprocessed foods are reliable. If it seems off I double check somewhere online. The only thing I’m not too keen on is that user data goes into the system as well even if it’s misspelled or a duplicate, but so far it hasn’t been a big

I’m overweight. I have been for most of my life, even if just by a little bit. When I was in shape, I was eating healthy and exercising. When I went back out of shape, it was what I was eating.

She’s defending her son and the 99.9999999% of people with conditions like this who AREN’T Hitler. Maybe everyone here could try being a little less ableist.

I loved American Girl as a kid but never had a single doll. I didn’t like dolls. The books were my jam, though, and I loved the catalog because at the time you could buy the costumes in your size. I never got one of the costumes, but I loved looking at them.

From what I read, they did; she can work with a different producer, she just has to stay with Sony.

There are programs in place for people who are poor and have kids. The same cannot be said for people who experience a great financial loss and have pets. There is no WICK for pet owners. If you lose your job and you have to move somewhere a lot cheaper, and they don’t take pets, then what do you do? Some apparently

Shit happens. People lose jobs. Expenses come up...those of the medical variety are a bitch. You may not “buy it” now, and that’s great for you. I hope you never experience financial devastation.

There are way more important hills to die on right now than whether or not Jimmy Fallon is being sexist towards teen girls.

I’ve never been in this situation, but what if you have to move and you can’t afford the places that allow pets in the area you have to move to? Saying, “I would live in a cardboard box” as another poster said is, well...easy to say for someone who has never actually been homeless. It sounds exceedingly prissy and

No. You should always tell them because you should respect them enough to let them decide if they want to stay with you or not. This list is just mental gymnastics to make yourself feel OK about keeping it a secret. YOU were in the wrong and THEY get to decide what they do next. Anything else is selfish.

I agree fat people are demonized unfairly, but I find it completely believable that at least nearly half of her seat was taken by an overflow. That armrest in the middle isn’t a shield...the fat goes around it if they’re large enough.

Nope.

Water here is absolutely disgusting unfiltered. Thankfully we have a filter, but before we did, I bought jugs of water. Unfiltered water here is even more disgusting to me now, after visiting Germany. Their tap water tastes like bottled water. It was amazing! ....aaaand the waiters give you the stink eye if you order

The solution seems obvious to me. If a host rejects a booking, make them give a reason why. Take away their ability to host if they reject a booking from a minority and then approve the exact same booking from a white person. Factors like poor previous ratings would be allowed to be taken into consideration in regards
