Saw it last night and I can absolutely confirm, with a few minor caveats, it is all it is hyped to be. It’s a wonder to behold and the images it burned in my brain kept me wide awake most of the night. It also contains the absolute best Cage scene ever put to film. See this immediately, in the theater.

Just watched ‘Legend Of Boggy Creek’ on Shudder and just, wow. It starts as a kind of Leonard Nimoy ‘In Search Of’ riff then smack dab in the middle is this utterly bizarre hillbilly music video that just goes on and on and on and on..... Do NOT watch this movie sober.

Not sure if it technically came out in 2017 or not but “Ghost Stories” with Martin Freeman was excellent. Walked into it knowing nothing and enjoyed it’s blend of old English Hammer horror and modern techniques immensely. Freeman is also, as always, outstanding. Great chiller for a rainy day.

I’m sorry but I thought it was hilarious. Something so darkly funny about all the ‘subversives’ just being casually offed left and right that I just can’t explain. Also, best Steve Buschemi performance in years. Loved it.
