Having owned more than a dozen GMs, if this goes forward in all new GMs, I will be looking to someone else. The Kia EV9 is looking much better than the Blazer EV now.

Even worse when they are pumping gas at one of the only pumps that also has diesel and you are in a diesel truck trying to get fuel. I’ve been to some smaller stations where they have 2 diesel pumps and both were blocked by gas cars but all the gas pumps were open. And then you have to wait like 10 minutes for…
To be fair, if you set the max speed of the Bolt to 45 mph instead of 92 mph, change the pedal response to max the motor out at 50 kW instead of 160 kW, and force maximum regen all the time, you probably do get a significant range increase over the EPA rating.
And yet the Bolt EV has a waitlist a year long. Maybe people just want cheaper EVs.
And yet the Chevy Bolt EV has a wait list a year long, are selling for over MSRP, and they are discontinuing it. Go figure. Maybe people just want an affordable car.
Didn’t this just happen at a Supercharger in Denver at the Edgewater Public Market last week? “Tesla driver dies in fatal shooting at Supercharger station after ‘argument over charger’”
Just going to point out that in the last 3000 miles of driving my EV, I have charged at a DCFC once for about 20 minutes. And that was the day I bought it and had to drive 4 hours home from the dealership. We use the EV for about 95% of all household driving every week. I’ve only used a public L2 charger once as…
6.5 cents per kWh in NC off peak (evenings, weekends, and holidays) if on TOU billing with Duke Energy.
Wow, some people must really be getting ripped off by their utility. With my 2023 Bolt EV, I use 29-31 kWh for 100 miles. If I charge overnight at homein NC, it is 6.5 cents per kWh with my TOU billing. That works out to $2 per 100 miles on the high side.
Amazing!
I’m curious what law are they violating? Does GA have a law that says if you live in GA your vehicle must be registered in GA? Or do they have a law that says you can’t have an out of state company car?

And when is Waze coming to Android Auto? It’s been “coming soon” for the better part of a year now.
Sounds more like we need more pipelines. Having 100 million drivers rely on a single point of failure for fuel delivery seems like a major issue.
On a 1 mile trip, that’s an extra 264 feet! About the width of a small office building.
Need an 8' bed to close the tailgate with an ATV. Had one for years :)
There’s plenty of $80-90k Sierras at the local GMC dealer. And no, I’m not talking about a Dually Diesel truck. These are 1500s with tons of options. Meanwhile, I just bought a GMT800 Suburban 2500 with the 8.1 for under $10k :) Suits me just fine for towing under 10k lbs.
10-12% of the trailer weight should always be on the tongue for best stability. Air bags on the rear of the tow vehicle and a weight distribution/sway control hitch will also help when the towing weight exceeds the tow vehicle weight.
And Chevy was doing it decades earlier -
