I'd never seen that one before, just the one that was supposed to attach to the bottom of the Super Famicom or SNES. I still wish that had been made. :(

I kind of liked the look of the combat in HoMM IV. It always seemed sort of simplistic to me in 1-3. But I haven't played it enough to know how I'd actually like it in practice.

I honestly do. The whole thing with Ariel Winter playing Dora the Explorer (still confused whether this is real or not) annoys me, because Ariel is white and Dora is Latina. Why would you cast a white person as Dora? You see?

I'm selling mine since I can get the 3DS version. I'm sad I opened it. I got one of the originals from Nintendo direct when it came out, and it was in my backlog all this time.

I'd care. Gosh, I was hoping this was going to be full of comments discussing the differences, but it's just people whining about Vita. I like my Vita a lot, but it doesn't have a ton to do with this article.

Which ones do you consider great? I want to make sure I'm not missing any. I haven't found a lot of great ones yet but some good ones at least.

I've never played 5 or 6. I've been planning to play 5 for about a decade now. It's really that bad? I never played 4 either and would like to.

They needed the actual game code in order to do the port, and the only code they had was HoMM 3. I don't know about the episodic stuff though. Presumably that's lost along with the expansions.
