Trying to get your grey text approved and failing. I don't get how that works. Sometimes if I click the star, people aren't grey anymore, but it's not working.
I really don't mind Ubisoft. They've revived several franchises that probably don't have much money in them. Might and Magic X is fantastic. When would EA or Activision release something like that? I don't understand all the raging at Ubisoft. When it comes to capitalist corporations, at least they're attempting…
I didn't mention EA; you did. But I think it does set up a nice contrast, comparing Ubisoft with EA or perhaps Activision.
I'd rather just have a weird porn scene than have to play a weird mini-game.
Whenever I see a live-action of an anime/whatever, I always think, gee, everyone is Japanese. Well, of course they're Japanese. But compared to the anime, where no one actually looks Japanese...
Looks interesting but also looks upsetting. I have enough real-life things that upset me.
Totally agree. Not only that, but there have been non-adrenaline-pumping games for decades. Sure, Final Fantasy IV still relied on violence, but I don't think anyone played it for the adrenaline.
Is the meaning, "You will derive adrenaline from this experience"?
"We tend to hyperbolize whatever game comes along and eeks a feeling out of us besides adrenaline because the experiences are few and far between."
It could also just be made up
Totally agree. Previews have always seemed like way not worth the effort for me. Why get hyped for a game that might not even be good? And if it is good and I'm going to play it anyway, why spoil stuff for myself?
Am I the only person who thinks a lot of this got cut out because it was probably kind of lame and not fun?
And instead of Dragon Age Origins, I wanted SSI Gold Box 2.0, but you couldn't market that, so we got Dragon Age Origins instead.
Who?
I don't really understand the Game of Thrones comparisons. How is Zelda anything like Game of Thrones?
It's not really a remake, just a re-release that attempts to make the graphics more palatable for iPad.
I really like it, too.
You're right. They were real assholes to risk releasing Child of Light, even though they probably knew it wouldn't make money like their ten yearly versions of Assassin's Creed. And they were real assholes to actually do something with an old classic like HoMM, even if it's not what people apparently want.
Jeez, didn't realize how much people hate Ubisoft. I think that's a little unfair. I don't care much about their big franchises, but you have to give them props for risking it with stuff like Child of Light, and the fact they even BOTHERED to do anything with HoMM is more than most companies would.
