Darn, things used to be so simple! I suppose for the $5 they charge me per month, I could just keep bugging them every few years for a new one anyway. They are just a semi-local outfit, Midcontinent Cable.

I think I'd really enjoy it if I could just keep my saves on a cloud and easily switch back and forth between playing on my Vita and on the TV, but it just sounds like too much of a hassle otherwise.

Supposedly is gets kinda crappy about 5 hours in actually, har har. I still bought it to support it, after whining for years about not getting it. Felt obligated.

Kind of stings to pay $40 for a, what, 2-3 year old game, and then to have to pay for day-one DLC as well that really could have been free since it is,

I am wondering the same thing, because my ISP's shitty router/modem just sucks and is 5 years old now, and I have been paying $5 a month to "lease" it. Cons. Would like to get a cable modem and router (or combo) that actually work well and stop leasing their crap.

Sometimes I think it really is sort of like you say in that last paragraph.

Yeah, who knows. I can't even make sense of my own brain!

Maybe you, but what of your brain? YOUR BRAIN?

So how do DS games look on the New Regular 3DS? Am I going to have to get the XL just so I can run DS games in native pixel mode to make them look decent?

Instead of VHS, they should have just come out with Blu-rays in the first place. Maybe then Blu-ray would have a better market share.

I must just be clutzy, because not only have I accidentally turned off my 3DS, but on my 3DS XL, I accidentally turn the volume up to max when I'm playing something like Ocarina of Time. Really upsetting, especially with headphones on.

You can even use 128GB, though I'm not sure about 256GB.

That's a good way to jack yourself up and make sure your sleep is light and poor. :) I'd recommend a lamp at least. I play my front-lit Game Boy Advance SP. Not pesky back-lit screen to wake up my brain.

Isn't Nintendo the main shareholder in Game Freak, which owns The Pokemon Company? I am confused by all this.

Steam should buy him some anger management classes. Guess that might piss him off and incite him to violence, though!

Kids learn to say junk like that from us, though, adults. We need to self-regulate. That kind of language shouldn't be tolerated even in jest, lest we teach it to children by example. I really support Valve's decision.

Yeah, good point! And yes, I would like to believe but spend a lot of my time terrified of ceasing to exist.

Well it's not exactly a hand-out, is it? I'm not familiar with this project, but usually one gets the game. Sure, if stuff goes south, you might not get your game, but I've backed 100+ and haven't had that happen. But anyway, I am basically pre-purchasing games that I want to exist, with the understanding that,

I think Kotaku should do a weekly article about stuff on Kickstarter. The problem is that a lot of these projects get zero coverage. It relies on game companies to basically pimp their project. That's gross. Indie developers shouldn't have to be marketeers. It seems like pulling teeth to get the press to cover

Weird. Shouldn't the New XL and New Regular have the exact same processors?

It sounds like it might be kind of a pain moving save files back and forth. That's one thing neat about playing a cross-buy game, or a PSOne game on both Vita and PS3 at the same time. The save files just go to the same place, at least if you have PS+. (I think? Been so long, I can't actually remember now.)
