Well this looks nice. Maybe I will just get this instead of the XL. I like the compromise, like the ability to change face plates, and LOVE the Super Famicom slash PAL SNES colored buttons. I suppose they'll redesign that for the US. :( Although if they made it look like the NTSC SNES, maybe I'd like that.

Huh, weird. Just seems strange to have the size increase so much above the console versions, just for the addition of another dialogue track (and whatever other additions they had to have to make it work).

I thought the console versions did run the cutscences in-game. There is no way a blu-ray can hold 60GB.

Has it? I think it's been in and out of development for forever. I think they just restarted recently and turned it into some bizarre Tetsuya Nomura j-pop buddy dude action-RPG. Then he left the project and who even knows what it is now.

I really enjoyed XII, who knows why, but I agree, having to program my teammates is only one step behind having to make Lightning jump around and slash things. The series has died a slow death since Sakaguchi left. XV looks utterly bizarre.

I'm going that way myself (also in my 30s).

I'm confused. The Xbox 360 version was on 3 DVDs. DVDs hold about 9GB each for dual-layer. 27GB, if I did the math right, so why is this version 60GB? You can't fit 60GB on a Blu-ray, and that's what the PS3 version came on, a single Blu-ray. What's the deal?

How much can an Xbox 360 disc even hold? It's just a DVD. They can't possibly hold more than 6GB, so why is the PC version 60GB when three DVDs would be 18GB?

Yeah, I thought the cutscenes were actually done in-engine on the consoles.

Well, basically, I think so. Yes.

Yeah, I guess it is a little ridiculous... I think it'll be less of an issue with 3DS, though, because there isn't a new one every year.

Ew, you have to use Origin, though.

I've bought Origins enough times already that I don't need a free copy for once. Also, I don't need to play it again and whine about how much I hate the combat.

I will tell the poor man, who might not be lazy and might just have limited time to read news. Hyper Light Drifter: it still a comin.

Wouldn't be much of a "hero" if he fell and died and bereaved those who love him.

Most of the Disney movie games were rather bad, though, with a few exceptions (Aladdin and Lion King come to mind, though I still think the latter was crud).

"New iPad game will likely become killer app."

Huh? It's only for The New iPad?? How many generations ago was that?

How come Europe got the Super Famicom for their SNES and North America got such a crappy redesign? It's not really fair.

I wonder what J.R.R. Tolkien would think of his story having such a violent, graphic off-shoot.

Wow! That's profound. Well said. The real world is pretty darn beautiful, but... yeah.

Jeez, I can't wait to play this game. I honestly picked it up for the scenery alone, and the promise of kind of a slow-paced, contemplative, depressing game. :) I will just have to deal with any shock tactics used in the game. Also, the screenshots are prettier than the real-life ones, which is a bit depressing in
