I have driven and refueled H2 cars many times, there are no issues with the H2 just leaking away.  These tanks are at 15000 psi and are usually 3 ply tanks...plastic liner, steel, carbon fiber wrap.  We’ve had the car sit at full pressure for weeks at a time without any noticeable degradation.

Remember that pure H2 burns with a nearly invisible flame. If you’re seeing something burning it is most likely lube oil from pumps/compressors.

Part of this is incorrect having worked in the H2 supply industry. Most of these stations are filled with gaseous H2 by a large volume supply truck. An electrolyzer is just too slow or power hungry to make appreciable quantities in any amount of time.

Dat rev hang on everything that isn’t a BMW + short throw shifter makes for a jerky ride.
