I think there are plenty of people willing to buy a 60k truck. Even quite a few willing to buy an 80k truck. But I think a 6 digit truck isn’t going to sell well. I think they misjudged this.

The gtr is eternally compromised when it comes to drag racing. It’s heavy as hell, and it’s aero is design for cornering, not drag racing. The engine is goo though. They should drop it in a 240sx and see what it can do.

There are much better ways to build a drag car. If they wanted to use this engine, just drop it in a 240sx and it would be significantly faster. A 240sx went 7.3 with only 1300 hp. I think they just want to see how far they can push a gtr, which is commendable in its own way.

I think it’s because they know they’ll be able to do it. They probably don’t have any doubt in their mind, so it’s just a natural conclusion to them. I don’t like Porsche, but I have a lot of respect for them. The only company that can seem to put up a fight against them is mclaren.

People won’t like this.........but it’s true. Same reason why I was sceptical when Lexus announced they would be building some cars in the U.s.

Eh, maybe a little. I don’t think it’s that bad though, honestly. Now, if he suddenly started making videos on 2018 Nissan altimas or Chevy equinoxes, i’d be suspicious. But his videos are almost exclusively old enthusiast cars.

See, that’s the problem. I like the jag, but an amg GT also sounds good, looks great (beautiful, really) and isn’t a Porsche, all without the inferior quality of the jag. I still hope people buy the jag though, just so people keep buying stuff like this.

I agree. The silver rimmed wheels look cheap, too. The blue paint is gorgeous though. Much better than that stupid green.

Yeah, i’m done with this shit. I have a 5s (which was a good phone) and I decided i’m finally going to get a new phone. Was interested in what Apple would roll out, but this is pathetic. Same shit that’s been out for years. AND it’s ugly as hell. Yeah, i’m a Samsung customer now. I doubt I’ll regret it.

I was gonna say that, but I didn’t want to say it definitively because of course there’s no proof. The way he said it, he sounded like he’d been there, done that. Seems pretty fishy to me.
