It’s disrespectful. Think about it. Usain bolt, Michael phelps, Carl Lewis, Muhammad Ali, Michael Jordan, lebron James. They’ll all have “honor” of having their names next to a bunch of fat, sweaty mouthbreathers. Jesus Christ.

I would agree, but we already have quite a few Olympic sports that require expensive equipment to play. Any bat sport/hockey/basically every winter sport/archery/etc are expensive. For every cheap sport like soccer/basketball/running, there’s an expensive one.

I don’t own one, but I watched this guys video detailing what’s wrong with the car. The underbody actually looks pretty easy to work on, and he said himself that they aren’t too difficult to work on. It’s not like an Audi or anything. And most of the problems will probably be in the underbody, as i’ve heard these

It looks upper middle class, but it sure as hell isn’t priced that way.

Pillar-less sedan. You’ve rustled my loins.

Japanese classics has so many dream cars.

I’m surprised nobody else thought of it first.

The Reichstag tire.

A koenigsegg would dust a bug in a roll race, yeah. I’d like to see them go flat out as well, but there aren’t many tracks long enough for that (and vw owns one, so there’s that).

I really hope it’s a sedan or wagon. A Ferrari sedan/wagon would be cool.

I really want to know the guidelines of a study that rates those brands lower than fucking Chrysler. That, or I really want what they’re smoking.

The past 4 times i’ve gone to Maui, i’ve been stuck with a Chrysler rental car. A journey, a Sebring convertible, a charger, and a 200 (the newer one) and they were all incredible pieces of shit. I’m impressed that they have the audacity to charge the same price as a Honda/Toyota/ford/Subaru for these turds.

I don’t think Chrysler is capable of making a quality product.

I wouldn’t exactly say reliability=quality. Everything in the GM cars of the past was absolute shit, except the engine/drivetrain. Would a Chevy cavalier be a quality car then? It was reliable enough.

I used to think the koenigsegg s would be faster, because the numbers indicated it. Problem is, at least from what i’ve seen, they don’t get off the line very well at all. They may have a higher too speed (we may never know) but they’d almost certainly lose in a 1/4 mile race. The Rimac would pull harder from a dig,

Sure, a purpose built drag car could soundly beat a Chiron. Hell, there are Honda civics that could humiliate it in a drag race. But against a production car? I’d be shocked if it lost to any production car. If you gain joy from beating down on stock cars in straight line speed, then this is a great car. That’s your

It could win a drag race, if you consider that a race. Even if it can’t win a race, it still doesn’t mean it’s a pointless car, or that you can’t find joy in driving it.

Full autonomy= tens of thousands of people saved per year, tens of thousands more families intact, and that’s just in America. Being a car enthusiast is a hobby. If I had to give up driving for that reality (I don’t see a reason why I would, but hypothetically) I happily would.

By the reviews, the Chiron isn’t pointless on the track. It’s not a veyron. The veyron only cared about going fast in a straight line.

The general, goldbond, Buick, icy hot, etc all probably had to pay out the ass to get a household name like shaq on their commercials, which is probably why he did them.
