Didn’t they put manual in the f10 m5, and it was absolutely awful? I heard they didn’t develop it at all, and it was just an old unit.

The market will indicate whether people like manuals, and the indication seems to be that they prefer autos. Just because some people seem to need a manual just to enjoy a car, doesn’t mean that most people do.
