The time format also makes fatigue a factor, so the athleticism of batting really shines through in addition to the obvious skill and brute strength.

One of the best things was to watch Judge hit to all fields. Every other player was a dead pull hitter. Judge started his first 2 rounds by going to he opposite field on what, off the bat, looked like a weak pop-up to right.
