The only way to even the playing field here in the United States is to write laws that promote under-privileged, brown people at the expense of straight white men. They have centuries of privilege in their social vaults. Time to open them.

I too wish Trump was not elected, but he was. Better if we face this reality lest we allow it to overcome us. It will certainly try. His first 100 days will be a nightmare.

Except that what is happening to brown communities literally is genocide. They are being denied food, shelter, and medicine. This leads to death, albeit a slower death than a bullet or lung-full of gas. It is very much actual genocide that is being conducted by straight white men.

I have to agree with that. Not a terrible lot has changed in the past 150 years, despite what white men will tell you. Their lives have gotten much better, so they pretend that all lives have escalated in a similar fashion.
