Geosynchronous orbits are at crazy-high altitudes that are pretty much useless for imaging purposes.

The only place you can put a stationary satellite is over the equator and at 26,000 miles the imagery is not very good. Study a little astro-physics 101.

In A/P school one of the guys had two refueling Chinooks simultaneously, each carrying an APC. Pretty sick.

Except the Hornet / Super Hornet can take off and recover in well under 1000 feet in the middle of the ocean, therefore making it incredibly versatile and totally cool.
