From the link above it looks like the Raptor is flying on Friday and Sunday so that’s cool, they must have figured something out. The Raptors are in northern Australia for exercises now, maybe that’s why they can fly this time.

I just read they are flying direct, if that’s correct I think they may fly a similar route as the bottom pic to be near landings. Also I think they’ll need  KC-30s to start the trip and another to head from Australia to meet in the middle.

It just doesn’t make much sense to temporarily fly half way around the world to park for the weekend. They’ve been doing airshow after airshow for the last year.
