F-35B yesterday targeted a ground target and while guiding the bomb to the target automatically it also detected a QF-16 Drone, classified it as an enemy beyond visual range and fired an AMRAAM missile, both targets were hit... This is new... No other plane can do this...

Sadly mirrors only reflect part of the light spectrum and thus will still be damaged, the heat alone will crack a mirror.
The USMC in the 2020s will have the most modern and youngest aircraft fleet in the USA. This is unusual as they usually are flying/fighting with some ancient stuff.

It’s pretty amazing it’s still going strong as the youngest example is 54 years old and are expected to serve for another forty years which would be over a hundred years of continual service. There’s an outside chance they may go even longer so that an actual plane not just the type reaches a hundred years of service.
