Since a helocopter has a physical limit of about half the speed of an Osprey it to me is unfair to call it a helo.

In California the fire bombers are used to protect infrastructure, national parks, and property. They do this very well, of course they don’t extinguish the fire on there own but they do allow firefighters to cut a fire line without being overwhelmed. You are the first person who thought this was some kind of scam.
Eucalyptus are dangerous in neighborhoods but for wildfires it's the native stuff that's the problem, though much like Australia many of our plants are designed to burn.
The tourism dollars more than offset the firefighting costs and benefits.
Fortunately the facts don't show it to be more dangerous it actually has a better operational safety record than our existing helocopters.

If you believe that Iran intends to strike Israel with a bomb then this deal delays that. I don’t believe Iran wants to cease to exist itself, Israel has at least 200 bombs and it has second strike submarines that Iran has no chance to stop.
I meant it as a postive differentiator in this case.
For clarity other Heads of State have spoken to congress, having been invited to do so by the Executive branch and approved by congress. The problem this time was ignoring the Administration.

This is important the Kurds in turkey and the Kurds in Syria/Iraq are generally different and are looked at that way by turkey.... There are different factions of Kurds.
