He has a Che Guevara picture in his office/creative space. I assume that he is attracted to the image, without any political allegiance of any depth attached to it.

I couldn't tell if it was an intentional allusion to "There Will Be Blood", or if it was just a coincidence. Effective, at any rate.
I thought that it looked great on the screen, and Ricci has a certain magnetism, but that godawful intrusive score/soundtrack completely ruined it for me.
I upvoted, so that you weren't left with 4 upvotes!
And in every fantasy film and tv show, British accents are de rigeur!
Thanks! I didn't recognize him as Judah Friedlander, and it was plaguing me… where have I seen that guy before?!!!!
My wife is a social worker and the Sharing Clam cracked her up something fierce.
I actually read that scene as an indicator that Mickey never leaves the neighborhood, so didn't know of any other young gay men. When he cruised the park later in the episode, it was because his loneliness was finally greater than his fear of leaving the neighborhood. He hooked up with the girl because she was…
It's Al Kooper and Stephen Stills, from the "Super Session" album, recorded in 1968.

Uh, they're called black "dusters", not "trench coats" [said in the voice of Comic Book Guy from The Simpsons].
Zoroaster. They're a heavy stoner doom band, and as good as Zwan for what they do. Zwan does have a pretty impressive line-up, including David Pajo and Matt Sweeney on guitars.
S is for Sunn0))). Their own records were brilliant manipulations of the essential vocabulary of heavy metal, and their label, Southern Lord, was a vital force in reissuing seminal metal, hardcore, and other heavy music albums while also widely disseminating new and revitalized doom, drone, and heavy bands like Earth…
I have some cypress cologne from L'Occitane that smells woody with spicy notes. Every time that I wear it, my wife throws me down and fucks me!
I have gotten ridiculously stoned in the walk-in cooler and loading dock of a Whole Foods many, many times. At one point all of my college friends and acquaintances worked there. I never managed to get drunk there, though.
