Curious. Anyone getting Mass Effect Andromeda on Tuesday? As of right now, I’m been pretty apathetic about the whole thing, even though Mass Effect 2 is one of my favorite games ever. Who’s on board for the new voyage? If so, can you tell me what tipped you toward a purchase?

Wow do I hate gamers like this. I know there are bad apples in every kind of hobby/fandom/whatever, but man oh man is this particular brand of bullshit getting way too common for my liking.

I think the other aspect is the way enemies respawn. There’s room for serious weapon breakage as a part of memorable emergent gameplay, but the blood moons subvert that.

It’s the No Man’s Sky problem. Developer over-promises, then the game gets cut back and scaled down and the player base gets the disappointment. Specifically, players were told over and over that their choices matter. Then, at the very end of ME3, none of your choices matter because you pick A, B, or C. I could be…

Just a heads up if you’re ever trying to connect your RPi3 to your wifi, and your network password has special characters, verify what keyboard layout that it’s set to (e.g. U.S. or U.K.), and you can potentially save yourself a lot of headache. Ask me because I know. :)

The truth is even sadder. The game is excellent, it is universally acclaimed, currently holds a 95% recommend with over 7000 reviews on Steam, but there is a tiny minority of old guard DMC fans who will swear it’s the worst thing ever made.
