Disney’s history with drones is plentiful.

You mean the same theme park company that builds new mechanical rides every year, pioneered animatronics, and created sections of their parks called “tomorrowland?” Why ever would they be interested in robotics? I’m not “at least ask[ing] why” because it seems pretty obvious.
