I agree with the Muppets idea. I feel like Muppets Most Wanted set the franchise back to "no one cares" territory. And it wasn't that great.

I approve.
This movie is awful, but it was mostly an awful lot of fun. And like 1 minute into the movie they reveal the preposterous set piece wherein the climax will take place. I turned to a friend and literally said "this is how the movie ends…"
We howled at that in the theater at the press screening.
I never felt comfortable about how the Dixie Chicks were lauded as left-wing heroes right after that. It's like we celebrated too much at their arrival, gloating that we'd won over a COUNTRY MUSIC ACT, and we weren't really up to supporting them afterward.
I'm sorry.
Looks like you've been reading my Gmail account from 2007
Yeah, I don't mean to say I prefer that, but at least I can point and laugh without looking like a traitor to the cause.
You know what I don't miss? The liberal outrage of the mid-'00s. I mean I did my part, watching The Daily Show every night and whatnot, but when it came to the crazy theories, like "you just KNOW Bush is gonna use some sort of 'wartime powers' authority to grab a third term!" or "Jeb Bush is gonna tax Disney World if…
I wanna see more of that weird syndicated Price is Right that only had 3 contestants and no Bob Barker.
These digital sub-channels specializing in retro content are all the rage now. We've got ME-TV and Antenna TV here in town. I can't speak for Antenna TV, but ME-TV shows the mostly rad Svengoolie show on Saturday nights.
I thought so too, but it was a little too real without it.
I wanted to make sure I left a secret code in there before I got put on blast.
He may be dead, but the shit he wrote/said is definitely up for judgement.
I like how this is one of the biggest comebacks to this comment at right wing shitholes like Breitbart.com. "I'll never see another Rogen movie ever, libtard scum!" That fucking tool John Nolte also claims the right wing sunk "Muppets Most Wanted" by not going to see it because the Muppets once made a Fox News joke.
Man, I can't agree with this more.
Hopefully I'll bag my limit, just like Chris Kyle did with Iraqis!
You never served? Well then clearly you aren't qualified to have an opinion you libtard. This man risked his life protecting all you fruits and your smartphones! If he wanted to kill a few blacks and Mexicans stateside just to keep his juices flowing, I say this sailor has the G*d-given right to do so! I salute you…
I'm not arguing whether it's good or not (I haven't seen it) but the perception exists.
I'm not sure what you want then. "Here's a positive review of this thing that bought lots of advertising from us!" doesn't feel quite right. Especially stuck to the review. BUT whatever.
