There's an old axiom that states that if you can't get laid at a con, you can't get laid.

That said, it's really EASY to get laid at a con, but some people just try waaaay to hard.

Really, guy? Gonna go as the White Queen, where you'll spend 25 bucks on a cheap shit flogger, 150 on boots, but won't spring for a goddamn blonde wig or at least pour a goddamn bottle of peroxide on your hair?

THAT'S the big offense of this.

InCase's Elizabeth gangbang is my personal favorite.

You know, I rarely find a place where the use of the term "butthurt" is actually appropriate, and yet here I can't find anything other else that approaches the level of sarcastic vitriol here.

Uh, that's sort of the thing: I found nothing likable about it. Except Vicious, I guess. If there was one bright spot in the show. The music was sub par, the acting did nothing for me, the characters were melodramatic, and it was tonally dissonant where it didn't seem to be beating you over the head with symbolism.

Why does everyone hold CB up as some sort of gold standard? It was pretty shit. I bought the first DVD of it ages ago and just couldn't even get through the three or four episodes that were on that.

I feel it's one of those anime that people like just because a lot of people like it, not because it's particularly

I dreamt of blood upon the shore, of eyes that spoke of sin...
The lake was smooth and deep and black, as was her scented skin...

I would be largely inclined to agree with you.

Well, bonus points for condescension and missing the point...and of course, Patricia agrees with you, so...bonus, I guess?

Do not judge based on clothing. It's sort of idiotic. Women don't like it when you do it to them. Why would you do it to men?

Typical argument goes like this:

And also isn't very good at her job. XD

It got boring when you used the most hackneyed phrase in the social justice warrior lexicon.

No, your echo chamber makes you louder. And annoying. However, note to the mob mentality endorser: louder does not make you correct. A good thing to remember.

I never said that holmes stemmed from a literary figure. You are making incorrect assumptions. But, to get specific, holmes, unless you've been living under a rock since '83 and are still rockin' the Sugarhill Gang, it's been holmes since it was co-opted by MA gangs. Then again, maybe you live somewhere strange. I

I do not understand it either. In my writing, I write a character, as a character. Everyone has their flaws and strengths, and whether they are male or female is really just sort of luck or the draw or dependent on whether or not the story needs that particular gendered character or not.

This was the complaint voiced

Just sayin', that is at least a small opinion out there. Basically, it's one of those points that dear ole dumbass Anita talked about in her thesis, which is to say that if you have a character that can be read as either male or female, it doesn't count as a real female character. Same thing if the part was written

Yeah, it's problematic that she's really not a good character. Or, a character, really.

So, I had written something about this a while ago, stating that a good character is a good character, regardless of their gender. I received at least one outraged reply that having what equated to a "gender neutral" character was abhorrent, because it wasn't telling a woman's story. So...dunno...that approach seems
