I was a google stream tester, and the experience there was amazing. It ran as well as the downloaded version did on my PC. The largest difference was perhaps draw distance, but it was negligible.

They should treat this like a generational console, and either offer a payment plan that pays off the “console” you are renting over the lifespan of that particular hardware spec, or have a large upfront fee to join stadia that lasts for 8 years with small monthly access fees associated, like a physical console.
