i think it was just for fuel milage , since the sport is a more of a “street” version i think that’s why it has it. if the off road had it, it would get obliterated haha. either way i think the entire front end is hideous .. I have a 2013 trd- off road and i love the front end look!

They didn’t do it in the “old” crew cab short bed either, but at least it was better disguised by the fender flare.

This is the first crew cab long bed I have seen and I noticed that they carried the character line on the doors along the beginning of the bed before the rear wheel (presumably because it is the same bed as the ext cab).
