@illiniphase4: And so would I.

@ZeeG: As I said in my response to m_9, my initial post wasn't meant to be accusatory towards Bungie. I was just curious about the three race "paper, rock, scissors" set-up that was/is prominent in both Halo and Starcraft, (although now I'll probably be attacked for bringing paper, rock, scissors into the mix).
@Legend411: Yes, true. The Aliens/Predator/Space Marines thing was in comics (which, of course, was in movies beforehand), but what I should have said to be more clear was to limit the three race thing to video games.
@m_9: Whoa, relax. My tone wasn't meant to be accusatory. I was just curious.
Didn't Starcraft basically create the blueprint for the three race battle in Halo between the humans, the Covenant, and the Flood?
JoBlo's right. It is a rip-off. No pun intended. Stupid movie marketing divisions.
@Sean Netzel: +10 to you for bringing up Mysterious Skin. Great film!
@Paradox me: And therein lies the problem with Hollywood, especially today, when almost everything is a pre-branded property adapted into a movie.
@DarkPGR: Hyperbolic much?
@Tevor_the_Third: Blown?
Just what we need, more movies trying to ape video games.
Wow, the "creative team" at TV3 basically used the PS3 ads as pre-visuals for their commercial.
Overpriced, but I still think this will sell really well over the holidays — especially the $300 bundled version.
I'm pretty sure the good ol' U.S. of A will be a third-world country in 30 years time.
@That mop mutant: Actually, it kind of does make sense.
@robert1591: Hilarious.
@Nulls: Nicely stated.
@Mariblanka: LeDouche.
@peteer02: hates geofencing: Nice!
Wow. That's the fucking epitome of hardcore.
