Isn't the new Win7 taskbar a blatant Dock clone? In short, Yes. In OS X there are also multiple instances of a program running along the dock. If you long press any icon, you get an Expose view of all the instances of that program. The "eye-candy" that is Expose makes Windows management a dream, and coupled with the

I disagree that you believe Windows is *far* superior. Besides the vast gaming available, I don't see the major advantage. I have a Bootcamp partition running Win7 now, and I'm hardly ever on it. OS X trumps Windows in Windows Management with Expose, native Spaces view, and is more streamlined. Not to mention the

I would like to have the smaller size, but with more power. If I were to build this, I'd place an i7 in there and use my tv as a monitor. Would be nice to have all that power, in relatively small space. Afterall, the components are going to cost the same if you were to place it within a tower.

I want to try this, but I don't understand why the video didn't include a real build of the Hackintosh. I would like to be able to see how it runs and navigates.

Yeah, I seriously want to do this. I love my Macbook Pro, but I need more power for my photography and video editing. Plus, half the fun would be building it yourself. Oh, and don't forget that you can upgrade the hardware!

Why would anyone be surprised by this? Facebook's bread and butter lies within development of its web application. webOS apps are developed primarily using web technologies (HTML, Javascript, CSS, etc), so it only makes sense that their developers would right at home in webOS development.

Well they probably used several connections to download all this data and most likely downloaded directory by directory, instead of an all or nothing type of deal. Either way, it would take forever on a normal connection, but I'm pretty sure they're pumping on corporate strength connections.

"Trust me" That's what a Nigerian prince once told me in an email.

Is there an emulator available?

Why the Fuck wouldn't I want my Smartphone to Smell Like Jellybeans? #correction

You know you can always lower the quality of the stream? You can keep watching your 240p youtube clips, but I prefer to watch HD quality Netflix streams to my PS3.

As far as I can tell, most internet providers in Germany don't have a strict cap, but the internet isn't nearly as fast here. Also, free internet isn't really a wide spread notion. In Frankfurt, the only places to get free Internet is ironically from American companies: Burger King and Starbucks. Let me put it this

Wasn't one of Apple's main fears with allowing flash to run on iOS was competition with it's App store games? Also, I didn't say Apple would should be worried, I just pointed out how this would "harm Apple". And you'd be crazy to think that Apple isn't keeping a close eye to what FB is trying. After all FB has the

Well I know many people that would love to play the games on FB on the go. The difference with FB games will be that not only can you play on your computer, but you can also play on your phone. Isn't that what Microsoft is aiming for with XBox Live on Windows Phone 7?

When the author stated that "Apple is gone", she meant that as in out of the picture gone; which in this case Apple will be out the picture.

I think Facebook might be trying to get users to use their new photo-sharing app for the uploading.

Well if Facebook is bringing Games and credits to the table then people will rather play the free games on Facebook via their smartphone than purchase apps from the App Store. Less purchases = Less revenue for Apple. Furthermore, since in-game purchases are HUGE in FB games, Apple doesn't get the cut from in-app

Yeah, but using your keychain isn't nearly as cool as using a Smartphone. After all, this is Starbucks aka hipster heaven.

I would rather pay less upfront, and get nickeled and dime. First, I don't need to pay any amount of money for entertainment when I already have a Laptop and an MP3 player and I can live w/o Internet for a few hours. As for meals, I would never pay for one on a flight since it's criminally overcharged for what they
