I'm going to leave my "Rapture Ready T-Shirt" by my "remains"!

I agree with everyone's thoughts that the first thing that one should think of when this type of explosion happens, is whether anyone was hurt - not iPad 2 shipments.

+1 Sir! Btw, I for one enjoy the ribbon and will be proudly wearing it! (Well at least in my Boot Camp)

Very interesting to see how Microsoft approaches the release date. Windows 7 was rushed out because of Vista's reputation, but now that Win7 is selling like hotcakes and businesses are finally taking the plunge, that same urgency isn't around. But, since it appears that Win7 is Microsoft's tablet solution, they can't

It's about time Microsoft incorporated native PDF support. OS X has implemented this perfectly.

If those people are anything like, I don't like going fullscreen because I enjoy having constant access to my dock in OS X. After all, I keep all my most used programs there, so I frequently need that access.

I don't know about anyone else, but I don't like going full screen because I like having access to my dock in OS X.

I think most people can say that about their facebook friends. I have like 600ish, but I also have a bunch of HS friends that I couldn't care less about. But, I keep people on my list until I see they're stupid enough to click on those spam links and then spam my wall - then they get the X. It's funny though, I keep

Um someone sounds like FB chat just ruined their relationship! I personally love the new message system, if I'm offline, I get the msg when I log back in and I never have the data lose explained here.

100% agree! I usually just print either at work or at my University because of the prices of ink. Oh, and one must not forget this old school Gizmodo article that shows that ink in 2006 was more expensive than blood...and booze!

3.) You wouldn't need a brand new internet connected TV, you would just need a new set-top box like a Google TV. Then you can use an Android and/or iOS smartphone to control that. I'm sure there's a Google TV that allows you to connect the TV to it, so it can turn both off/on at the same time.

One major miss on this list is: Battery Technology! One only needs to look at the Cell Phone industry to see how badly the current battery technology needs a breakthrough - not to mention laptops and tablets.

Just saw the Update to this article. Pretty much how I summed it up. Maybe I'm Giz's "source". :)

+1 for clarifying the POS to the more..let's say... immature members of the 'Net. They've clearly never worked in a retail environment.

I'll believe it when I see it. I worked at an Apple Store for two years, and new tables were always being installed, not to mention the POS (Point Of Sales) devices being down for an entire day was pretty normal at times.

Do you know anything about Skyhook? I don't. I would prefer Google having that data, since I know with Google Dashboard I can see everything they collect and associate back to me. That way I can delete what I feel, I don't want Google to use. Skyhook may have the same feature, but I would prefer Google maintaining

I don't see a problem in this. Motorola can include Skyhook in their devices, but if they do they lose access to early Android builds. Simple.
