They mention it at least once per show, I think.

The biggest strain is that the reign is being measured by days when I can't even remember the last time she defended it. It makes me feel like Bryan should have taken the IC title with him just to have a year-long reign to his name.

I do have to respect how Cena's promo on Monday valiantly tried (and failed) to create some doubt about that

I feel like there's a good shot that Taker wins it (maybe even clean but hard-fought) to set up a rubber match at Mania. I do agree that they're walking a fine line when it comes to maintaining each's credibility.

My heart NEEDS Lana and Rusev to be together specifically for her instagram.

Show's in a tough spot in terms of characterization, since he IS the tweener in this 3-way feud. I liked him on commentary, though. He did a good job talking up both Miz and Ryback as worthy opponents.

That was exactly my thought! A contract signing that didn't end with a punch thrown or someone being put through the table. It also tickles me to imagine all other matches involved backstage contract signings and long, passionate promos.

Yeah. Any other situation, Taker would be the heel (low blows, sneak attacks), but it's F'N Undertaker in 2015. And Brock transcends heel/face alignments just by being himself.

Every few hours I laugh at the one player asking, "What if she says 'yes' a few days before, even for a completely different reason? Can I rape her then?"

I just want to pump my fist and yell "PEGGY AND STAN!" forever and ever.

Too Far to Care is probably their consensus masterpiece, but Alcopheliac is pretty right. Album to album they're kind of diverse with a remarkably consistent body of work.

Athletically, the match itself wasn't bad. I respect the work Naomi and Brie put in… But they're both technically heels, and I'm not sure the audience knew who to cheer for. Especially after Brie got a pop for "BRIE MODE!!!!"

"
I made this joke on Twitter, but I’m not ashamed to make it again: Why would Rusev want a Russian chain match? Cena—as part of his doctorate—studied chains intensively. He named his gang after them."
I am at my work desk laughing very, very hard at this.

If this means he tours solo or close to solo, it's all worth it. It's also a really good album; I hope his next one has a full band or whatever, but it's great that he has a downer album in the catalog.

I've seen him over a dozen times (haven't missed him in Boston since I was 18), and man. Every time I think "I can skip his next tour", either I fall in love with his new music (Peachtree Battle EP last time) or he up and tours with Ryan Adams or something. I've kind of accepted that I'm not gonna stop.

Yeah, music for girls is the worst.

His Cover Me Badd EP has a Queen mashup/cover that sums up his awesome showmanship with his corny-as-hell vibe perfectly. The passion is off the charts but something about making fun of "Ice Ice Baby" 12 years too late seems old man before his time-ish.

Rise and Fall is my favorite one, cheesy lyrics be damned. It definitely hasn't aged as well as the others, but it balances guitar heroics and his earnestness (for better and worse) very well.

He could probably still sing "Sober", "If", and "Take Tomorrow" pretty convincingly (I'm 50/50 on adding "Far Away from Close" to the pile), but the production definitely marks it as a transitional album from the Marvies to being a full-fledged singer-songwriter.

I love 1989 AND RTJ2. My life is full of love.
