I found the previous ones frustrating and they felt outdated. It was like a throwback to late 90’s SEGA Japanese games.

Am I the only one who thinks Ni No Kuni was horribly overrated? I bought it off word of mouth and found it to be horribly dull even after sticking with it well past the point that most JRPGs get interesting.
I’ve asked a couple people what they love about it so much and they invariably start spouting off about how…
The whole thing reeks of classism, same with grammar police here. Who cares as long as it works.
less reliant on printed on-screen instructions in lieu of trusting the player to come up with solutions for the challenges it presents.
I’m with you; these games seem like such a wasted effort. All that content made for essentially a 30 hour QTE.
Yeah, the weird difficulty was one of the things that bugged me about that one (sidequests harder than the main quest, so you couldn’t use them to level up; the path to a dungeon being harder than the dungeon itself; safer to go at night, because what?; etc.)
Hell, I put a lot of hours into that in 2003 post-college. Somewhere there’s a notebook with the password for every game in a championship season for Washington. Presidential pitching, FTW.
Fuck. I’m actually crying.
Wait, what the hell is the point of this feature?
imho pvp sometimes ruins the fun / the enjoyment of co-op and these dark zones might sound fun for some but in the end someone will be a dick, i think in every youtube vid of an mmo’s social event where the rule is be nice don’t be a dick some how escapes a select few.. c0-op is and always will be ruined by…
BioShock was by far the most disappointing game to me I have ever played.
AMD THE AWARD FOR TRYING WAAAY TOO HARD GOES TO:
You know that the term westerner is a pretty broad term with lots of different cultures who may not share your definition of etiquette. Also if you think that manner in which on holds a fork makes one civilized you have a pretty poor grasp of what being civilized means and a outdated definition that is better left in…
Isn't the western version of this how do you use a fork? Pretty sure if the fork or chopsticks are doing a good job of getting food into your mouth without spilling it everywhere you're using them just fine.
I agree. Dont listen to the smug ass saying "you clearly haven't". Nightmare or not it SHOULD be an option, instead of just excluding a section of people from ever even attempting the raids.
Seriously. It's all it would take for me to get back in the game. They finally add (read: force) Group Finder to Weekly Heroics (which, as you said, can be solo'd) but still no Nightfall or Raids.
Blonds are not more fun...
...I've found through VERY scientific experiments.
They're usually potheads.
Cool thanks for the information from what others have told me was not expecting to be billy badass but everyone I have talked to seems to be loving the game.
How much did you play? Initially, I was turned off by the controls. The combat felt clunky. But the more I started using my shield, keeping my distance and carefully planning my melee attacks—accounting for the speed of each weapon—the better it all felt. I now think it feels good.
I randomly picked this game up when it came out, and I gotta say I'm really diggin' it. My boyfriend is a huge Greek mythology buff, so it's fun for him to watch me play (I also like hearing the backstory behind all the lore and whatnot) and the gameplay is surprisingly deep with more weapons and combat mechanics than…
