While I can understand the mistrust, it usually only means that it will be more expensive to pay the lawyers than it will be to settle eventually. The lawsuit wasn’t about finding out why they did what they did, it was about recouping the losses that investors incurred when Sony pulled the game from stores. Rich

I don’t see what’s divisive about games with predictable stories that are gated behind hidden object and quick time sequences. They look pretty, but I have found better gameplay picking random games on my phone.

But hey, if that’s the type of game you are into, I don’t judge. We all have our quirks.

I guess that Thor movie with the same name was just stealing from GOW as well.

Or maybe all of them are drawing from Norse mythology from a thousand plus years ago. It’s a toss-up, really.

The cheeks move fine - just look at the looping clip at the top of the article. The texture of the cheeks is what to look at - the pores just don’t look right. They chose an excellent scene to use, as there is no major motion to give away skin stretching, and the even lighting doesn’t give away the usual fails in SSS

That’s the model - they make money by selling the DLCs and add-on content for the titles. Most of the subscription systems work the same way, with the notable exception of Ubisoft.

Of course dey go faster, dey red. Don’t say stupid things, human.

One of the videos available on WH+ shows a primaris Ultramarine company wiping out an Eldar Craftworld. Despite the propaganda of the Indomitus Crusade being all about purging Chaos, the fine, upstanding Ultramarines, directly under the command of the saviour Robute Guilliman (who owes his very life to the Eldar), is

Being a pragmatist, he began to debate whether or not Lorgar was actually right.

Then he died and his body was directly possessed by the Emperor, who directly told Nurgle that there were gods on this side of the warp as well, and promptly set fire to Nurgle’s Garden. Then he told Mortarian that he was not beyond

Fun Trivia: Gene Kelly’s character’s name is Danny McGuire, the same as his character in the 1944 film Cover girl, where he played a nightclub owner opposite Rita Heyworth. Rita Heyworth then went on to star in the 1947 film Down to Earth, where she played a muse sent to inspire the main character.

It’s not something you watch, it’s something you skip from musical number to musical number with, and then the magnificently bad/good finale. Imagine it like a series of ELO music videos rather than a movie.

Sony and Bethesda have not been a good match for years. There has been open animosity between Sony and Bethesda; it wouldn’t have surprised me if they had announced that their future games weren’t coming to PS even if they hadn’t been bought by MS. Sony’s developer tools (which use a proprietary audio codec that

I dunno, Ari - Hotel Del Luna was pretty damned good.

I own both and if you are going to get one console at this point, the Xbox is the better platform due to GamePass. It gives access to games that you wouldn’t normally bother playing because you wouldn’t spend $30 on them, but are plenty fun when they are thrown in with the sub - I have found some games I spent 100+

That’s easy - these games are designed to trigger the same kinds of responses that things like slot machines do. They literally kick off chemical reactions in your brain that make you want to keep playing. Single player games can do it as well (Civilization’s “one more turn and suddenly it’s 4 AM” comes to mind), but

That’s 45 hours that could be used to hold down a second job that makes rich people richer! Come on people, get with the program, we can’t let the economy stagnate!

Couldn’t you just shave your head and wear literally anything and call it an Agent 47 costume?

Yep. They made what could have been a great single/co-op game series a Destiny clone that nobody asked for. If they had gone the Ghost Recon Wildlands route and made it an open world squad shooter, the two games would have been so much more enjoyable. Then they went and f**ked up GR:B as well by making it more like

How have you figured all that out but somehow managed to miss that every one of these tech blog sites are nothing more than thinly-veiled ads for the things they are supposedly informing us about?

Um, Luke, sorry to break it to you, but Fallout 3 crashing at any given point may or may not have had anything to do with GFWL. It just crashed, all the time. At one point I remember not being able to look too high over the horizon because literally looking at the sky would crash the game. Play the game and leave too

He’s right about this much: Sony’s problem from the PSP/PS3 days forward has been commitment. They want their shit to be able to do so much, they give it such incredible potential, but by the time the next gen comes out they have done absolutely nothing new with it.
