Sadly, more local manufacturing won’t help much, because the raw materials needed to make most of the things we get from China don’t exist in the quantity we need in the US, or at least aren’t accessible enough to make it worth mining them. Rare earth elements just aren’t common in North America. Which means we are…
I read an article about this a few weeks ago, and apparently a lot of the cause is related to the actual shipping containers. Because of the trade war and the pandemic, we have a ton of things coming into the US, but not a lot of things going out.
You missed Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous (PC) on Sept. 2nd - this is gonna keep a lot of old school RPG fans busy for many, many, many hours. They recently announced it will be coming to consoles later this year as well.
You will note that games released in time windows that aren’t in Q4 tend to not have this problem. It’s mostly caused by companies trying to get games out for Christmas, which is just idiotic in the days when people buy their games digitally - it’s not like they are wrapped and under the tree.
Limited time exclusives aren’t exclusives? So all the people who complain about having to wait a year to play something are what? Lying?

My CPU in my PC died, and so I have fallen back to my Xbox more than usual, and man, I have played some great games that I would not have touched without GamePass. I personally really enjoyed Haven, which is a genre I normally wouldn’t even pay attention to, but turned out to be surprisingly engaging and fun…
I’m triggered by clickbait BS in general, but especially the negative spin that Kotaku puts on every XBox article they post. The console wars are what they are, but news should be news, not propaganda.
After how long, though? Years. They hold on to their exclusives for years before they come out on PC. Plus, HZD was just throwing the PC players a bone. We are still waiting on TLOU, GoW, Spider-Man, Uncharted, and numerous other exclusives to show up.
Those are mostly studios which used to be independent that Sony bought. Which is exactly what MS is doing, just on a larger scale.
Shhh. Let them have their “the SSD is faster!” bragging point, which is literally the only thing that is even slightly faster about the PS5. It makes them feel better about the money they spent as they play Spider Man: Miles Morales for the 23rd time.
This article fails to mention that it loses exclusivity just as MS releases a bunch of MS Studio titles which will never come to PS5, so the whole “very few exclusives” clickbait BS is moot.
All of what you said is just in your head, it’s all just pre-conceived notions of how your experiences have trained your brain to feel. The next generation of drivers will think about all of that engine noise is what you think of when you hear the sounds a touch tone landline phone makes.
Live isn’t dead. It’s name was just changed to protect the innocent.
Yeah, Cawdor has some weird stuff in their new book that was just announced, including combi autogun/flamers, and shotgun/flamers. They are Cult Imperialis wannabes, which is the reason for their fascination with Imperial weaponry (or cobbled together things that look like it).
I understand your point. It’s just missing the whole point of what this is about. The plan is to save you money up front by not paying for stuff that you won’t use.
Sounds like they are thinking of House Cawdor. They are scavengers and use wrecked Imperial weapons that filter down through the hive. The current minis even have gangers using what were obviously once Custodes guardian spears.
What? You think they will be have a problem with him walking all over the white-people colored floor? What am I saying, of course they did.

The *theory* is that they only make one trim level of each car, rather than the 3+ ones they do now. Instead of buying the SLC model because it has the heated seats but also comes with a bunch of other stuff you won’t use, you could buy the base model and just pay for the heated seats when you pay for the car, or…
The other half of that last point is that Apple also refused to let nVidia put its GeForce Now app on the App Store because it inherently allows other app stores to be used on Apple devices. This is going to come back and bite Apple big time if they try to bring up Steam as a salient point, since GF Now is a platform…
