Man, I wish I could have justified getting the Pip-Boy version. I console myself with the knowledge I am getting a good deal and can use the app on my phone at least.

Fallout 3 stopped working because Games for Windows Live was shut down. There’s a new GFWL client that turns off the copy protection you can install that gets it working again. A thing actually pops up when you install it from Steam with instructions on how to get it working.

Well, Jade Empire is an 8-year-old port of a 10-year-old Xbox game (the first Xbox). Sometimes there’s only so much you can do to keep a game running.

Saved 24% on F04, and now 23% on the season pass. Man, I love GMG.

We’ll find out soon enough if it’s on the backwards compatibility list. It’s EA, and they are launching their own dumb monthly fee service, so who knows :(

Nope. No cross platform at all. It was the reason I bought an XBOne - it literally was cheaper with the deal I got than replacing the 360 songs I have on the PS4.

If you have a PS3 or 360 slim lying around you aren’t using, you can get really good trade-ins at places like Gamestop for them when you purchase a next gen console. I think I got $125 for mine (which had been in a box for several months), and I have seen up to $150 trade in deals. The only bad part is they only want

To be fair, the relese date of any game can be pushed up by a couple weeks. Usually the code is done a month or so before the game is released, and the last month is just logistics and marketing. Saying they will release early really meant nothing; it only really said that they are able to release digitally a week

I am actually not interested in MGS games, so didn’t play it. I was going by the endless stream of media praising it and its high sales figures. I personally enjoyed Mad Max, but it’s not selling well or getting a lot of praise, so I couldn’t call it a gem despite it being technically nearly flawless.

Apparenly a lot of people never finished the game, jusdging by the comments here. :)

There’s a huge difference between a game glitch that gives you a “huh, that was strange” moment among hundreds of hours of play, and one that you can’t even enjoy playing because there are so many. Some bugs slipping through is expected, but the above shows that they basically didn’t do nearly enough QA on Tony Hawk,

Anthology titles are throwaways for publishers, they cost next to nothing to produce and are just filler titles from their perspective, intended to bring attention to the new title that is following them or just get something on store shelves because they don’t have enough to sell.

What month is it? Oh yeah, September. That’s your answer.

You can watch and get a “big screen” experience without having the screen. Good for travel, if you live in a small apartment, or if you just don’t want a monster screen on your wall, but want to be able to watch like there is.

Let’s put it this way: it’s VERY Mad Max, and gives you a very Mad Max experience from beginning to end. If you know what that means, and are excited about that, and enjoy the Assassin’s Creed franchise, you will probably like the game.

Two words: PC trainer. Once you eliminate the “fun” of the repetitve combat and resource gathering mechanics that are designed to stretch the game out, the game goes by a lot faster. It’s also a great way to figure out if the game can really be considered “good” - if you take out all the time sinks and still enjoyed

Our go-to in on our weekly game night for fun is Elder Sign. It scales well for up to 8 players without expansions, is really simple to play, and is fun and tense. Once you have a grip on the basic game, you can grab the expansions. The first one just adds more of the same and ramps the difficulty a little (removing

I’ll give props to Legendary; we played the Marvel version a while back and it was pretty fun.

Pandemic now has a dice-only version (Pandemic: The Cure) that’s much quicker to set up and play, but still maintains a lot of the fun of the original - worth checking out.

I pre-order for one reason: to spread the spending out over longer periods. I bought FO4 on the day it became available with the 24% off GMG coupon code. I bought Just Cause a month later when the next GMG code came out, and I bought Rock Band 4 and Mad Max last month when my PTO cash-out came in. I prefer not to
