I get that the media has a job to do, and guys like Westbrook make that job harder for no good reason. I also get that Westbrook calling this guy out in public was mean-spirited. And I have no problem with Tramel using his platform to call out Westbrook, since Westbrook used his to embarrass Tramel.

I think too often sportswriters make the mistake of thinking "Because only a select few people get to do what I do, that must mean I'm as supremely talented at my job as the athletes I cover are at theirs."
