I always thought the romantic buildup throughout Ninja Gaiden (NES) was touching, from being strangers to having to trust another, to the romantic/uplifting ending.

That's great, always thinking about your stomach.

It's probably fondant. You can eat it but I hear it's doesn't taste that great.

I was just looking for this the other day to show my wife—I'm glad it is finally online in high quality. Thanks, Paperman team!

They gave Atari music too much credit.

It looks like this is not showing up in the store for iPad 1, even though the specs on the iTunes store says it works for "iPad" (assuming that means all versions).

Same here

During the holidays I found my old NES and SNES boxes; the consoles and games are still hooked up. This Christmas I showed my 3-year-old how to beat Bowser in Yoshi's Island. Making new memories.... :)

I did pretty much the same thing. I quit gaming a year or so ago mostly because it's a major time suck that a 35-year-old dad can't really afford, but I also was surprised how much I enjoyed multiplayer on COD4 and then MW2. I think that rush is what motivates some to shoot the real guns out on the range, and

Wake me when it's over nine thousAAAANNNNDDDD

I had this happen as well to my 60GB PS3 from 2007 or so. My brother borrowed the unit and played it quite a bit in a room without air conditioning, which I think brought it on.

(and now speaking to the camera in the back room): These old video games make nerds go crazy, and if I can talk this schlub outta this one, I can sell it for huge cash and paint my scalp with liquid gold.

I gotta put it on my shelf, takes up space, these things take a long time to sell....

Apparently, some Apple stores plan to let buyers return the previous iPad model for a new one: http://www.macrumors.com/2012/10/23/some-apple-retail-stores-offering-30-day-window-to-exchange-ipads-for-new-model/

I bought Street Fighter IV from Gamestop, and asked for and was promised one of the promo posters on their wall when it came down. It was a really cool poster too, but when I went in to get it they had already trashed it. So I don't go to Gamestop anymore.

Those physical toys are so annoying. Judging from my experience with the Mega Smash set, that Death Star will take an average MIT engineer about 50 years to put together without falling down in a big heap.

I tried watching each one but didn't make it halfway. They just aren't that funny.

I think I have all the early issues, #1-120 or so.

Remember how Nintendo Power would have short profiles of the game tip pros on staff? In one early issue, one staffer said he could beat Ninja Gaiden (NES) blindfolded.
