I noticed this as well. The only way I figured to get around it (to have the main screen say I was online) was to actually wait and let it connect - it apparently needs to do this every time you access the main menu. Why it doesn't do this upon loading the game itself is beyond me.

I think we should all calm down and just enjoy the (max) 2.3 years we have left in existence.

I liked the ending as an idea, but not the execution of the ending. It was soooo fucking proud of itself. I felt like Brett Ratner was jacking off into his popcorn with just how edgy this ending was.

I see your point. Maybe it's my knee-jerk reaction to people who think those who want to see all the evidence before making a claim on someone (either defendants or plaintiffs). Clearly something happened, but it was settled out of court. He said it didn't happen that way; they say it did.
