That's a valid point - but I don't see much of an alternative. Like someone else pointed out in this thread: the goal is to reduce the likelihood of gun violence - we can't remove it.

Your point about causality is taken - and it's definitely valid. Yet while you begin your statement with reason, you follow it up with words that imply the very stigma I'm saying we need to (ideally) remove from the conversation. Not reframe it - remove it.

That last sentence - perfectly stated. The minute we stop using those terms as derogatory and start treating the illness with respect, the quicker we might see a change in these issues. Again, this is all idealism, because the brain is so ridiculously complex and the range of external danger from what could be

I see your point, but that's why removal of the stigma is the first step: if nobody sees it as a detriment to who they are or a failure of their own mind, then the quicker we can reasonably say "you can do all these things, but these few things would not be recommended / not allowed". There are plenty of "handicaps"

I think ending the stigma of mental illness and incorporating a much more comprehensive screening process would be a much better (read: reasonable) start.

I think the great thing about that film is that you can argue both subjective readings with equal proof on either side - it's a great shitty film. It's a shitty great film. I can't stand it and I enjoy it a lot. I need help.

Of course when put on the spot, I forget them, but I believe a few of the Earwolf podcasts do it, maybe We Hate Movies…some Maximum Fun podcasts. Isn't that all the podcasts?

Rifftrax version of the Room was just as sublime as Miami Connection. You should give it a shot!

1/2 hour? More like 55 min - it seriously takes up 60 - 70% of the film. I was in shock while watching it. It hurt me to watch it. That being said, now they can stick any crappy film in the middle and it will work!

They actually make it really easy. I've rarely had to retime anything. And some of their content is available with the video itself (Santa and the Ice Cream Bunny being one of them).

Wikipedia mentioned that most everyone associated confirmed through their respective Twitter accounts that they weren't involved. Mary Jo, Mike, Kevin, Trace - they all had quick comments concerning it. No real explanation as to why - although there have been some definite clues here and there.

It's what I think about every time a podcast does a MeUndies plug.

I've got a straight adaptation.

I ALREADY MOVED MY ENTIRE LIFE AROUND TO SEE TONIGHT'S LIVE RIFFTRAX. I AM BETTER THAN ALL OF YOU.

Sweet god - I can't get through that film anymore; it's depressing - the film is absolutely drop-dead gorgeous, but characters and their motivations are so thoughtless, so stupid, so empty - I can't get farther than 40 min into the film.

Just got back from seeing this, and I am absolutely stunned by how good it was. "Rocky Balboa" was good, but this story hit me hard. And that unbroken take during Adonis's first big fight - it took my breath away.

I thought it was pretty solid as 80s horror camp. It definitely had a lot of technical and aesthetic choices I could identify as Mann, which I really enjoy.

Wu-tang's mom somehow figured out how to create and maintain a Paddle8 account. Good on her.

Note to AV Club intern: Okay. You SERIOUSLY need to read the post-its we put on every single item of media information. It clearly said "Coming Distractions" on this post-it. We even underlined it and used star stickers to catch your wandering eye. Yet here we go again, another piece of information on "Newswire".

I'm 1 day 11 hrs into the game and haven't done the Castle mission yet. I spend most of my days just running around the Commonwealth.
