It’s already happened several times... The motor just stops and you press a button to restart it. No repair necessary.

I paid $3,500 for mine and I’ve seen them offered for $3,400. It’s only slightly more than the gas powered version of the same Cub Cadet mower.

Same here. I have a battery powered Zero Turn Cub Cadet rider, and it’s amazing. No more dealing with bad gas, gummed up carbs, spark plugs, or even belts. (The wheels and blades are all directly driven off of their own electric motors).

1.) “I particularly like how you took part of my sentence “I don’t understand how a cast iron can be used for flavorful foods (like spicy Indian curries)...” and then ignored the rest of it”

Oh, and can you please cite your source for this claim:

I have, and no, I didn’t.

Yep, understood. I just wanted to clarify that in my experience as long as a pan is very well seasoned even acidic foods shouldn’t be much of an issue. In fact I prefer cooking acidic foods on cast iron because any microscopic amounts of iron the acid leeches out is actually a great source of dietary iron which is an

I gotta ask: Where do you live?

It is true that acidic ingredients can, over time, eat away at the seasoning. That would take quite a long time however. A well seasoned pan should have no problem simmering an acidic sauce for quite some time. I have done tomato sauces in my cast iron many times without issue. I always follow up with a very quick

“I am asking a genuine, logical question”

I don’t understand what physics you’re using to base the assumption that cast iron “soaks” up spices?

Yes I do. It’s an HDMI+USB type KVM switch that controls access to my PC, my server, and my two laptops.

A properly seasoned cast iron skillet should essentially *be* non-stick.

I gotta disagree. My cast iron pan gets used more often than all my other pans combined, and I have quite the collection of stainless steel and non-stick pans.

I fly enough to have status on multiple airlines, and I have had TSA come around and do a “random check” at my gate on a couple flights where they double check people’s ID / boarding passes before boarding, and those were on domestic flights. I forget what airports this has happened at as it’s been several years since

In the limited testing I’ve done in my home, I’ve found a correlation with closing my unused bedrooms vents and a lower electrical usage during the periods those vents are closed.
