I was thinking of exactly this parks and rec episode when I read this article.

It’s not so much an age issue, IMO. If I’m at home where I have speakers, sure I’ll watch a video... But if I’m reading this on a plane (Where the text and images were auto downloaded for me because I won’t have wifi) or at the office, or in a waiting room somewhere... You just can’t play a video in those situations.

I have probably about a dozen myself. I have literally never taken a vehicle to Jiffy Lube and had them *not* fuck something up while it was there.

Oh I wish mine would beep like that. I always *try* to open it as soon as it’s done, because otherwise my plastic containers are just filled with water. If I open it right away even the plasticware dries out pretty well.

What drives me nuts about stuff like this is that people don’t catch the “160 degree” part. 160 degrees (F) will cause THIRD DEGREE burns in under 0.5 seconds... That’s HALF a second.

I believe *all* “modern” dishwashers now have water heaters built in given that it’s more or less government mandated (At least in the US) as it’s required for energy star certification.

Agree 100%, but one thing to add on the hot water point is to consider that the “wear” you’re saving from your dishwasher you’re in turn adding that additional wear on your water heater, and then some. So whether it’s true or not is one thing, whether it’s worth it or not may be another. With anything in life “it

I gotta agree with everyone else on this one: IFTTT is awesome in theory, but it’s *so* unreliable it makes it almost useless.

I just did it and it dropped it to $6.99 for me.

Accidental double post.

I’m having a rough time with your logic (or lack thereof).

Belkin does not, but if you don’t mind using Z-wave instead of Wifi either of these options will work:

Yeah because it’s junk.

I have been seeing movies at the Alamo Drafthouse (And their various competitors around Austin) for over 12 years now, and this has literally never happened to me. I have never been given someone elses food or had my food given to anyone else. I’ve never seen this happen to anyone else either. I’ve seen hundreds of

As someone else already said:

Funny you should bring that up. :)

Your electrical energy math is a bit off, in the sense that you forgot to consider voltage.

Accidentally posted twice.

It’s Physics. And I’m dumbfounded at how so many bad numbers are being used by people responding to this... Someone said because a hair dryer pulls 13 amps, that you’d only need 6.5 amp-hours for a 30 minute session... *face palm* That’s only true if the battery happened to be 120 volts. No portable batteries pack

Am I the first person to really look at this? Because on one axis, Corn and Tomatoes are a good combination, on another axis, they should not be planted together...?
