This is the Radical SR8 LM’s lap on Dunlop Direzzas, a lap that the 991 GT2RS just beat. The SR8 LM is pretty much an LMP3 car.

But, but....rear engine is wrong engine placement!

And 14s ahead of the Viper ACR, which did 7:01. I don’t have the editing skill to lay the footage side-by-side, but it’ll be obvious where the Viper lost time.

And now the scrutiny begins. What compound is it on, what’s their aero setup, what’s their transmission programming, anything on the tester that’s not on the options list, telemetry matching the footage...

For reference, this time is 37 seconds faster than the 2010 911 GT2 RS, a full minute quicker than the 2004 911 GT3 RS, and 9 minutes & 14 seconds faster than a Trabant P50.

That driving is stellar. I’m surprised he can fit his balls in that little 911.

There is no rational basis for speeding tickets (including automated ones) other than local revenue and the corrupt insurance industry.

Why is protesting the anthem being likened to a racial slur...

You don’t see the difference between going on a racial tirade and quietly expressing that cops shouldn’t be able to murder innocent black people?

Every action has a consequence, for sure. But, I think the target audience of NASCAR’s advertisers probably agree with Mr. Petty, so probably little chance of the advertisers backing out.

And people have a right to pressure Petty’s sponsors to cancel their endorsements. When they do pull out I will give you a stopwatch to time the sprint he will inevitably do to protest about “censorship by the liberal elites”.

There is no conflict here. People have free speech, and your employer is free to fire your ass. If I went on a racial tirade in my office, you bet your life I would be out.

I am not sorry to insult Richard Petty.

I’m conflicted. I agree with the notion of kneeling, because the country is not where it should be, but I don’t want to insult Richard, obvious reasons.
