Could be worse

Yes, that’s very true. However, I believe the inference was that so many German cars are sold in the US due to, in part, the inferior quality of US cars built for US consumption.

Having spent at one point in my life, no exaggeration, 40+ hours on the phone being jerked around by a local court system attempting to figure out what happened to a fine that I had paid, after they told me I had to show up in court (2 states away) because they had no record of me paying it... One, two, three, four, five, six, seven, eight, nine, ten, eleven, twelve, thirteen, fourteen, fifteen, sixteen, seventeen, eighteen, nineteen, twenty, twenty-one, twenty-two, twenty-three, twenty-four..........zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz.

Whether the Jalopnik peanut gallery would like to acknowledge it or not, E30 M3 prices are in the stratosphere right now. That is not to say I think this specific car is worth $28k, but it’s not off by a decimal point. Not by a long shot. If an E30 M3 runs and rolls, it will fetch >$10k in the current market.

Ding ding ding, I found the resident BMW hater for the day.

Your WRX will eat a Ferrari 250 too, but it seems fools wish to spend millions for the Ferrari only.

The engine alone is worth what you’re saying the whole car is worth.

BUT ITS AN M3

No, I mean a non-running shell with holes you can put your hand through is worth $3k. Mint examples are worth well over $50k now.
