17 second difference is possible, GT3 cars a lighter, have more downforce & are not limited to meeting safety regulations & have racing slicks, if the GT2 RS’s lap cuts the GT3 RS’s lap in less than 20s, GT3 class racers generate more downforce & have better traction so they will be able to hold speed through corners…

Holy balls of glory! That thing claws out of those corners like a cat trying to get away from a bath! Even with 700+ hp & Cup 2 tires, it can put power down mid corner & can go full throttle before the corner is over! Kudos to these engineers, gotta give them credit!

Proper race cars are way faster than this, GT3 cars would probabaly run 6:30s, F1 are rumored to be able to get closer to 5 mins flat or less round the ring,

That’s the point evolution not revolution, for example the 8er, from the first gen to the 2nd gen, totally evolution & stil sharers the DNA & identifiable BMW. Elegance while beautiful,

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder, BMW don’t have to be pretty, they have to be elegant, & IMO they have made beautiful cars recently i.e. M4, M6, i8, & Z8 concept & the recent 8 series concept, either you just hate their design or hate BMW is you don’t think they don’t make some elegant & beautiful cars
