I’d take a pause button for the radio, hazard light switch, and a cruise set/accel button in a nice little configuration on the floor. I’d also move the turn signal switch to the shift knob (left = counter clockwise, right = clockwise).

I always took “parking lights” literally, but to me that had a very different meaning.

Wasn’t that 454 also equipped with TBI (aka the half assed injection system that crippled most GM V-8s for over a decade)?

Shot in the dark, but the only factor that would seem to matter is the brake biasing.

Anything over 1080p is irrelevant and a waste of processing power (unless you have better than 20/20 vision). At the distance TVs are viewed at most people can’t see the difference between HD and UHD anyways.

Are we talking 300 hp in a Lotus? If so, I’m on board.

I’ve had the exact opposite experience. I delivered pizza full time for 10 years. I used many cars during that time, but VWs seemed to do best for me.

Thanks for pointing this out! No one seems to realize this.

A bit too much chrome for my taste, and even though I’m not particularly a fan of AMC or Mopar... That is one of the sexiest cars I’ve ever seen.

Agreed on the Vette and. Bimmer, but those Carreras always look old (and cheap) because the headlights are fogged.

I knew there was something I was forgetting about Humvees... No park, just the (possibly working) e-brake. I don’t remember anything about wheel chocks, but I did most (maybe all) of my humvee driving overseas before I came back and got my humvee license.

I have ATTEMPTED to do business with this dealer, but they are a complete dumpster fire. Long story short, they’re just too unreasonable. I am 100% sure that if it weren’t for social media, the salesmen would take turns joyriding in her car until September 15th.

I love BMW drivers. I’m not sure how many other people are aware of this, but, currently, every BMW in Oklahoma is doing 95+ mph.

This is irrelevant if you drive a vehicle with a small enough turning radius. In my last 3 cars (Jetta, Golf, Jetta) I could do this and still pull out, going the right way down the aisle, without backing up to correct. So I park like that frequently now. In other vehicles I’ve had (Camaro, Cobalt, El Camino), this

The best indication I’ve seen is a “Registered Texan” sticker. If you see one, you should immediately put two football fields between yourself and any vehicle wearing that sticker.

That’s like 82% of Texans.

I’m as fascinated by this as the next car guy, but after a little thought... This is the automotive equivalent of restringing a Les Paul with bass strings. It might work (with a couple new parts and a very short scale), but it’ll never be as good as an actual bass, and it will never be as good as the Les Paul once

What we really need to ask ourselves is ‘what would Teddy Roosevelt do?’

It’s less than an hour job if you cut the hole, and a template is readily available online. That was a no brainier for me.

I was going to mention this. I don’t claim to know the details, but a diesel with a particulate filter adds a little extra fuel to the mix during a regen cycle, right?
