Seems like it's going to be a great improvement, and for web developers, it's nice to see that Microsoft cares about standards.

I'd be willing to sacrifice higher quality video or get buffering here and there if it meant not having to deal with cable/satellite companies.

@JohnnyricoMC: Definitely! It'd at least be nice to have an installer that made certain features optional. Then, for those who just want a music management app, no iPod/iPhone support necessary, could just install what they need.

I use it when I'm on someone else's computer. Especially if I'm going to login to facebook, or some other popular site that everyone has.
