Speaking of inspecting a vehicle in the dark and/or rain, my current DD is a 2007 Toyota 4Runner. It is one of the worst vehicles I have ever used in the rain. This is not a driving issue, but more of a every time you open a door, water pours into the car issue. Now I don't live in an area with too much rain, but it

I had one friend get slightly angry at another (non-mutual) friend because she had a sticker on her car from a tuner company, and her car was obviously not tuned by them.

I once had a guy outside of a 7-11 ask me for cash, and I told him I didn't have any (because I didn't), but I decided to buy him a banana on my way out. I have never gotten more thanks than at that moment.

Gotta love a diesel. I accidentally made the realization that the parking brake does not in fact have enough stopping force to keep my truck immobile while in gear.

You must not be from SF.

This picture makes me realize how much better she looks on the left side than on the right.

I have always hated when the AC is placed on the location dial. AC is a "temperature," not a place (at least how most people use it). If you want it to be on a dial instead of a button, put it at the cold end of the temperature dial.

Does anyone else think this looked like Toyota at first glance? I feel like it is a really similar font as well.

Oh my word. This is just amazing.

My best ticket story unfortunately isn't even mine to tell, but I feel it is one that needs to get out there.

Hmm. I wish this were true in the Bay Area, but as I think though it now, none of our freeways/highways follow any kind of numbering structure.

My problem with this is if I don't know exactly what the thing I am looking for looks like, I am unable to find it.

This.

Yeah, that's what I figured as well. Most CVTs that I have seen use the band method. There is no way in hell that will hold the torque of a diesel. Or, if it does, it will not last long before it starts slipping and eventually dies.

I have always been curious as to why diesels don't have CVTs. Since peak torque happens in one small area and drops off pretty quickly on both sides, a diesel witha CVT would be amazing.

You might want to look into Prey. It has pretty much the same features as Find My iPhone, but it is also multiplatform, so you can pretty easily track a bunch of devices.

I used to use hacks in CS 1.6 all the time too, even to the extent that we had small hacking scrims to see who could get their hacks to react the fastest. I swear, after using hacks for so long, it is painfully obvious any time someone is hacking in any game to me. The entire play dynamics are different.

Does anyone know why this is? That has always confused me throughout my years of BMX and motocross. I've always just taken it as a gimme, and never really thought about WHY it works.

I have honestly never noticed that arrow before. I am going to have to check my car to see if it is there.

I thought of doing this for a while, but little did I know, I cannot find a car rental place anywhere that will allow me to tow a boat. Something about water damage from dropping the rear of the vehicle into the lake/ocean. They also only seem to rent out F-150 with barely enough power to get themselves moving, let
